To many mermaids are merely a mythology creature, story a thing of the imagination, yet to me they have a deeper truth, meaning and knowing. They are a representation of the inner wisdom and magic of a woman, they symbolise uniqueness, power, strength, resiliency and authenticity. The mermaid in my eyes is something that is within each and every one of us as women, and she is waiting in the waves to be invited to come out to play. The mermaid brings with her that inner knowing, the voice of reason that says you are worthy, you are enough, you are wild, you are wonderful and you are free. The inner mermaid is within each woman and she is waiting to come out to play, to be awakened from within so that she can show you the way.

The mermaid is not for the faint hearted as she loves to dive to the depths of the ocean in all her glory. She is unapologetically fierce, loud and proud, with a sprinkle of gentleness, compassion and kindness. She is not afraid of diving deeply into herself, her emotions, her feelings, and her presence here on earth, in fact she is powerfully excited to be fully showing up, living and breathing from her true space and place of her heart's connection, her inner knowing. The mermaid in her finest form is alive, she remembers and she lives from a place of deep integrity and true authenticity .
